Adelina "Lena" Cruz, age 73, passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

A private family graveside service was held. Arrangements were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Adelina "Lena" Cruz was born on April 21, 1947 in Clayton, New Mexico to Raymond Cruz and Ida (Perea) Cruz. Lena was a devoted Catholic and was a member of the Altar Society. Adelina devoted her life to caring for her parents and family. She was a built in baby sitter for all of her nieces and nephews. Her house was always open to all and she welcomed everyone into her home. She loved oldies and Spanish music. Adelina was the best cumba dancer and she was the best at baking from scratch. Her saying was "What's what dinner." She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Raymond Cruz, One brother, Lawrence Cruz and a sister, Angie Martinez.

4 SISTERS: Marcella Madrid of Clayton, New Mexico, Martha Cruz and Ernestine Cruz both of Guymon, Oklahoma and Cathy Segovia and her husband Victor of Liberal, Kansas.

3 BROTHERS: Joe Cruz and his wife Dot of Guymon, Oklahoma and Frank Cruz and his wife Donna and Raymond Cruz, Jr all of Amarillo, Texas.

1 SISTER-IN-LAW: Rose Cruz of Guymon, Oklahoma.

1 BROTHER-IN-LAW: Junior Martinez of Chouteau, Oklahoma.

And numerous nieces and nephews.
