Albert Roybal, age 48, died on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the Clayton Gospel Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Pastor Chuck McKee officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Albert Roybal was born in Clayton, New Mexico on March 15, 1974, to Frank Roybal and Marcia (Maestas) Guevara. He lived in Clayton until he was 12, then his family moved to Santa Fe. He started working at a young age and throughout the years became a man of many talents. He enjoyed work and cared about his crew, they were more like family than co-workers. He met Ambra Gurule in his 20's and had two sons with her, Joshua Roybal and Albert Roybal, Jr. They lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and have numerous memories of his there until 2009. He then moved back to Clayton to be with his partner of 14 years, Melissa Jaramillo. They have a daughter, Lenayah Roybal who was his whole world. Albert enjoyed life to the fullest. He was gifted with so many talents. His work was something he prided himself on and it showed for itself. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He cared for many people and would always lend a hand no questions asked. If you were lucky enough to have him work on your place you also got to taste his amazing cooking. Albert's life was full of people he loved and who loved him too. He loved being a father to all of his children. They all have wonderful memories of him teaching them so many things, fishing, swimming, skating, working but most important he showed them the Lord. He was becoming strong in his faith and teaching his kids about God. Albert was preceded in death by his dad, Frank Roybal, Sr. his brother, Frank Roybal, Jr and by Mary Jaramillo.

MOTHER: Marcia Guevara of Clayton, New Mexico.

His daughter: Lenayah Roybal and her mother Melissa Jaramillo both of Clayton, New Mexico.

His sons: Joshua Roybal and Albert Roybal, Jr. and their mother Ambra Gurule all of Las Vegas, Nevada.

4 STEP-KIDS: Shyanne, Brianne, Dominic and Carlos.

BROTHER: Steve Roybal of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

His aunts Emma, Alice and Carmen and uncles Eddie and Danny.

Cousins Anna, Paula, Louis, Angelo, Ray, Adam, Mary-Ann and Jessica Maestas.

Family friends JJ Garcia, Tom and Sandy Sturges, Richard Jaramillo and Jose Rodriguez.
