Allen Fred Crisman passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, April 24th, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 64 years.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Clayton Gospel Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Pastor Mike Phipps, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Allen Fred Crisman was born on October 11, 1961, in Clayton, New Mexico to James Weldon Crisman and Bertha Mary (Romero) Crisman. Allen graduated from Clayton High School in 1982. Allen married the love of his life, Lisa McAnear Crisman on October 22, 2016, in Stinnett, Texas where they made Stinnett their home. Allen enjoyed many hobbies like crafting, welding, making jewelry, buying and selling at flea markets, playing poker, going to casinos, dressing as Santa and the Grinch and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. To say Allen's favorite hobby was fishing is an understatement and he wanted it to be everyone's hobby. Allen collected fishing poles, he thought every kid should have a fishing pole. Allen and his best friend co-founded the Clayton fishing derby over 25 years ago and it is still going strong today. Allen loved spending time with family, friends and all the grandkids. Allen was preceded in death by his father, James Weldon Crisman, his mother, Bertha Mary (Romero) Crisman and by two sisters, Linda Howery and Donna Grube.
