Ann Wiseman, age 90, died on Sunday, August 13, 2023, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Graveside celebration will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Ann (Sonchar) Wiseman was born on November 29, 1932, in Raton, New Mexico to Joe Sonchar, Sr. and Annie (Paulich) Sonchar. Ann married Alfred Wiseman on February 11, 1967, in Raton, New Mexico. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Raton and later the First Baptist Church in Clayton. Ann worked as a clerk at Safeway in Raton and later worked as a bookkeeper for many years for Errington Funeral Home in Raton and for the Raton Builders Supply. Ann took great pride in her home and her yard and in everything that she worked on. She enjoyed a clean house and doing yard work. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Sonchar.

HUSBAND: Alfred Wiseman of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 DAUGHTER: Paula Lark of Raton, New Mexico.

2 SONS: Leonard Woody and his wife Pam of Arvada, Colorado and Rick Woody of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

STEP-DAUGHTER: Cheryl French and her husband Roy of Michigan.

16 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren.

1 BROTHER: Joe Sonchar, Jr. Of Raton, New Mexico.
