Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, by Deacon P. Louis Montoya and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Anthony Thomas Blan was born on April 6, 1982 in Dumas, Texas to Joe Anthony Blan and Mary (Sandoval) Blan. He attended school in Dumas during Kindergarten and First Grade before moving to Chattuck, Oklahoma for three years and then to Hugoton, Kansas. They moved to Clayton when Anthony was in the eighth grade and he graduated from Clayton High School. Anthony worked for Claycomb Electric for several years and was currently working at Clayton Lake State Park. Anthony was a fantastic son and a wonderful father to his daughter Venessa. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Anthony was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; Arturo and Fugelma Sandoval and by his Paternal Grandfather; Tony Blan.

PARENTS: Joe and Mary Blan of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 DAUGHTER: Venessa Blan of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 SISTER: Cyndi Blan and Joseph Leal of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
2 FOSTER-BROTHERS: Roman Garcia and Johnny Garcia both of Clayton, New Mexico.
PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Margie Blea of Amarillo, Texas.
2 NIECES: Breana Blan and Veronica Leal both of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
1 NEPHEW: Diego Leal of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
HIS GIRLFRIEND: Lanita Barrera of Clayton, New Mexico.
