Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 4 by Deacon P. Louis Montoya and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 5, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Arnold David Miera was born on October 25, 1955 in Clayton, New Mexico to Arnold F. Miera and Dora (Sandoval) Miera. He was raised by his grandparents Nestor Miera and Feliciana (Gonzales) Miera on the family ranch in the Bueyeros and Mosquero area. David married Yvonne (Blea) Miera in 1973 and they were blessed with two sons; Matthew and Dustin. He worked as a rancher and a truck driver for most of his life. David was preceded in death by his grandparents and by a brother, Eugene Allen Miera.

2 SONS: Matthew Miera and his wife Audra and Dustin Miera all of Amarillo, Texas.

THEIR MOTHER: Yvonne Miera of Amarillo, Texas.

FATHER: Arnold F. Miera of Bueyeros, New Mexico.

MOTHER: Dora Tompkins of Springer, New Mexico.

3 GRANDCHILDREN: Dylan Miera and Alyssa Miera both of Amarillo, Texas and Brandon Miera of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Martha Marie Miera of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

4 HALF-SISTERS: Bonnie Linda Scott and Josephine Anne Miera both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Barbara Tompkins Grothe of Denver, Colorado and Dora "Deedee" Tompkins of Springer, New Mexico.
