Arnold F. Miera, age 86, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 30, 2018 by Epifanio Miera and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joel Bugas as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Arnold F. Miera was born on November 22, 1932 in Clayton, New Mexico to Nestor Miera and Feliciana (Gonzales) Miera. He lived in California for 30 years where he started three businesses. As a prominent business man in California, Arnold felt the call to return to Ranching in the Bueyeros area so he moved back to New Mexico and purchased a ranched where he lived and ranched the rest of his life. Arnold married Janet (Brand) Miera in 1961 and she preceded him in death on April 24, 2006. He later married Marie (Padilla) Miera on September 21, 2012. In addition to his parents and first wife, Arnold was preceded in death by 2 sons; Eugene Allen Miera and Arnold David Miera, a grandson; Dustin Miera and 3 brothers; Antonio Miera, Joe Nestor Miera and Raymond Miera.

WIFE: Marie Miera of Bueyeros, New Mexico.

3 DAUGHTERS: Martha Miera, Bonnie Scott and Josephine Ann Miera all of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

8 GRANDCHILDREN: Jason Miera, Anthony Miera, Alicia Miera, Sonya Barros, Sarah Barros, Matthew Miera, Vanessa Chavez and Tyler Scott.

Several Great-Grandchildren

3 BROTHERS: Adolph Miera of Nara Visa, New Mexico, Epifanio Miera and his wife Anita of Clayton, New Mexico and Alfonso Miera and his wife Ophelia of Belen, New Mexico.

And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
