Avery David Goldenstein, age 49, died on August 4, 2022, at his home in Clayton, New Mexico.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton, New Mexico. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Avery David Goldenstein was born on November 2, 1972, in Manhattan, New York to Howard Martin Goldenstein and Sarah Marsha (Shotsky) Goldenstein. Avery grew up in New York and graduated from Pace University. He lived in numerous places around the country and moved to Clayton in 2016. Avery had a cognitive and physical decline over the past few years. He was diagnosed with massive brain tumors and multiple cancers, including vital organs such as the liver and lungs. We believe this affected his emotional outbursts and promoted anger, paranoia and uneasiness in social interactions. We recently only found out about all this right after his death. Avery was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers.
