Bonnie Wyvone Mckay, age 75, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Clayton Church of Christ with Pastor Terrell Jones, pastor of the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Bonnie Wyvone (Duncan) McKay was born on November 14, 1942 in Merkel, Texas to Roland Anderson Duncan and Sylvia Vivian (Gordon) Duncan. She graduated from Post High School in 1961. Bonnie met Rick McKay while attending Abilene Christian College and they were married in 1962 in Post, Texas. Over the course of her 50 year marriage she attended countless high school football games in support of her husband. Bonnie worked for Production Credit Association for several years and then for the Union County Sheriff's Department for several years until she retired in 2011. She was a member of the Clayton Church of Christ. Bonnie was an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family, friends and church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband in 2012.

1 SON: Todd McKay and his wife Samantha McKay of Corinth, Texas.

1 DAUGHTER: Paige McKay of Carrollton, Texas.

4 GRANDCHILDREN: Chad Lambeth and his wife Christal, Hunter McKay, Colton Lambeth, and Hannah McKay.

1 GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Connor Rick Lambeth.
