Carolyn Watson, age 93, died Friday, February 13, 2015, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

Carolyn (Herrin) Watson was born on December 21, 1921, in Des Moines, New Mexico to John Quincy Herrin and Carrie (Davis) Herrin. She married Bob Watson on September 25, 1940 in Amarillo, Texas and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2007. They moved to Clayton in 1956. Carolyn was an artist and enjoyed painting, some of her paintings have been displayed in the State Capitol. She loved her dogs and loved visiting with people. Carolyn was very active in the Eastern Star in Clayton for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clayton. In Addition to her parents and husband Carolyn was preceded in death by 1 daughter Marolyn Wartenburg on October 28, 1984 and by a sister and two brothers.

1 DAUGHTER: Bonnie O'Casey and her husband Sean of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
