Cecilia Bachicha, age 86, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Parker, Colorado.
The Most Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, November 3rd at 6:00 pm and the Requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 4th at 9:00 am, both events at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Des Moines, New Mexico. Requiem Mass will be live streamed to the cafeteria at Des Moines High School as well as on the Glad Trad Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/GladTradPodcast). Burial will follow at Pinavete Cemetery. by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
On March 13th, 1936, Julia and Federico Trujillo brought a precious treasure into the world. Cecilia Trujillo was born into a pious and loving family in Des Moines, New Mexico. God called her back on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. She grew up in faith and love, ever true to her precious Catholic faith. 1956 was a banner year in her life. She graduated from Des Moines High School and married the love of her life, Benny Bachicha. Together, they built a happy family centered in faith and dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The beautiful example she set as a Woman of faith and a devoted wife and mother inspired everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet her. Her influence will never fade, and her legacy will endure. She was proceeded in death by her parents Federico and Julia Trujillo, her sisters, Marcie Whitman and Mollie Ulibarri, brothers Ramon Trujillo, Juan Trujillo and Tony Trujillo.
Cecilia is survived by her beloved husband Benny Bachicha, children Debbie (Roger) Ayers, Leonard (Trish) Bachicha, Judy (Chris) Pacheco and Angie (Dale) Kissner. Grandchildren Rebekah (Steve) Babcock, Jennifer (Bryan) Estvanko, Amy Ayers, Jessica (Jason) Ewell, Benito (Mika) Bachicha, Marissa (Ryan) Easter, Jayme Pacheco, Jordan (Genevieve) Pacheco, Olivia Pacheco, Jeremiah Pacheco, John (Annie) Kissner, Marcie Kissner and Mollie Kissner, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Maria Cannon, Fred (Barbara) Trujillo and Emma (Don) Koblishke, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
