Chavala Kinney, age 80, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Chavala Kinney was born on July 23, 1936 in Westfield, Maine to Fred Arthur Fullerton and Verna Etta (MacPherson) Fullerton. She was preceded in death by her husband Merle Kinney several years ago in Florida. Chavala had lived in Clayton for the last several years and was living at Clayton Nursing & rehabilitation Center in Clayton, New Mexico at the time of her death.

SURVIVORS:

1 DAUGHTER: Rhoda Moody and her husband Steve of Ocala, Florida.

4 SONS: Daniel Kinney and Kathy of Ocala, Florida, Scott Kinney and his wife Wendy of Waterbury, Connecticut, and Ricky Kinney and Kevin Kinney and his wife Kathy all of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 Grandchildren: Jeffrey Kinney, Sherry Scuttles and Chase Patton.

And 2 great-grandchildren.
