Chrisanna Marie (Valdez) Ramos, age 48, died on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas.

Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM with Fr. Joseph Balts as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Chrisanna Marie (Valdez) Ramos was born on February 19, 1975, in Clayton, New Mexico to Ramon Padilla and Connie Valdez. She attended Clayton High School and graduated in 1994. Chrisanna married Rene Ramos in 1997 and they had one daughter, Shania Rae Ramos. Chrisanna worked for Clayton Ranch Market in the deli for several years. She worked for JBS for several years as well. After moving to Amarillo, Chrisanna worked at Amarillo Credit Union then at Herring Bank for over 10 years. After working at the Bank, Chrisanna was placed right where God wanted her to be, The Arch Diocese of Amarillo. This is where she inherited such a loving and caring family whom took her under their wings. Chrisanna was preceded in death by her husband, Rene Ramos, her father Ramon J. Padilla, her paternal grandparents, Joe Sanchez and Cecilia Sanchez and by her maternal grandparents, Dessie Valdez and Rose Valdez.

1 DAUGHTER: Shania Rae Ramos of Amarillo, Texas.

MOTHER: Connie Valdez of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Lori Valdez and her boyfriend Rory Martinez of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 NIECES: Krista & Sergio of Clayton, New Mexico, Keesha & Edi of Texline, Texas and Harlee & Randy of Amarillo, Texas.

4 GREAT-NIECES: Kiara, Destinee, Emilianna and Jada Marie.

3 GREAT-NEPHEWS: Alexander, Zaiden and Ethan and one more on the way.

A special brother-in-law, Robert Trujillo whom she shared a birthday with.

And her dog Sparky
