Colleen Tyler, age 88, died on Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 21 and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 22 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, Fr. Glenn Jones was the celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Colleen Tyler was born on August 9, 1922 in Perico, Texas to Christopher Henry Welling and Anna (Martin) Welling. She married Verlon Lee Tyler on August 17, 1940 in Texline, Texas and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1999. They moved to Clayton in 1958 from Fort Worth, Texas. Colleen worked as a dietician at the hospital in Clayton for twenty years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. In addition to her parents and husband, Colleen was preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters.

2 DAUGHTERS: Pat Keller of Clayton, New Mexico and Verlene Bass and her husband Jim of Gruver, Texas.

1 SON: James Tyler and his wife Patty of Miami, Texas.

11 GRANDCHILDREN: Karl Keller, Kirk Keller and his wife Cindy, Karen Ortega and her husband Chris, Jason Bass and his wife Missy, Jered Bass and his wife Leona, Michelle Price and her husband Chris, Sara Chisum, Jeremy Tyler, Christopher Tyler, Jeremy Anderson and his wife Jenna and Jamie Steward and her husband Jason.

15 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Brandy Keller, Sean Keller, Brittany Proctor, Justin Bass, Kaysha Bass, Jesse Bucknell, Shelby Wagner, Sierra Bass, Meagan Bass, Stoney Price, Haize Price, Tayla Chisum, Tyler Anderson, Kevin Keller and Samuel Keller.

1 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER: Paiten Martin.

A special friend: Mary Alice Guthrie.

And many nieces, nephews and cousins.
