Corina Vandeberg, age 56, died on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.

Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the Rosary at 10:00 AM with Fr. Joji Konkala as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Corina Kaye (Martinez) Vandeberg was born on March 7, 1970, in Clayton, New Mexico to Ruben Martinez and Elsie Isabel (Cruz) Martinez. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1988 where she excelled in music programs. Corina attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales where she earned a degree in Music Education. She later attended the University of Montana where she worked towards her Master's Degree in Music Education. Corina was an extremely talented musician and played at her church in Missoula later at her church in Clayton. She was very talented in music and crafting and was an excellent cook and she loved to go hiking with her family. Corina was a very friendly person with a warm personality. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie Isabel (Cruz) Martinez, by a brother, Christopher John Martinez on January 3, 2026, by her maternal grandparents, Santiago Cruz and Mercedes Cruz and by three children that died at birth, Matthew, McKenzie and Christian.

1 SON: Dylan Vandeberg of Missoula, Montana.

HER PARTNER: Kenneth Maestas of Clayton, New Mexico.

HER FATHER: Ruben Martinez of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 BROTHERS: Clifford Martinez and his wife Janelle of Clayton, New Mexico and Casey Martinez of Amarillo, Texas.

3 STEP-CHILDREN: Kendra Lopez and husband Travis, Heather Sinclair and husband Trey and Cynthia Lujan and husband B.J.

NIECES & NEPHEWS: Mark Anthony, Brandon Sandoval, Tim Sandoval, Brittany Rivera (Jake), Sirena Martinez, Isabel Martinez and Christopher Martinez.
