Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Pastors L.R. Haisten, Kenneth Tidmore and Terrell Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery six miles South of Amistad, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Daniel Kimber was born on October 27, 1988 in Dalhart, Texas to Chester Kimber and Yolanda (Gonzalez) Kimber. Daniel grew up on the family farm and ranch near Amistad, New Mexico and attended school in Amistad thru the sixth grade. He then attended Clayton Schools and graduated Salutatorian of his class in 2006. Daniel moved to Dallas, Texas in June of 2006 and lived with his older brother Matthew and his wife Karla. He attended DeVry University and graduated in March of 2009. He was currently employed by Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union as a Computer Network Support Specialist and he loved to work on computers. He enjoyed playing the piano, organ and tuba while in high school and was active in the band and Science Olympiad. Daniel was involved in his church, Presence Church Addison in Carrollton, Texas, where he was a faithful believer and follower of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Daniel loved everyone he knew and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather; Americo Gonzalez and his Paternal Grandparents; Clarence and Marguerite Kimber.

PARENTS: Chester and Yolanda Kimber of Amistad, New Mexico.

2 BROTHERS: Matthew Kimber and his wife Karla of Arlington, Texas and Andrew Kimber of Austin, Texas.

MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Ida Gonzalez of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

8 Aunts, 3 Uncles and many cousins.
