Services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Jay Jones, pastor, and Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Deanne (Adams) Knotts was born on August 31, 1942 in Clayton, New Mexico to Walter Leroy Adams and Maurine (England) Adams. A lifelong resident of Clayton, New Mexico, Deanne attended Clayton High School. Deanne started dating Ralph L. Knotts in 1955 and they married on September 12, 1958 in Clayton. Together they owned and operated Knotts Sportsman Supply in Clayton for the past 36 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and animals of all types. Deanne loved visiting with all of her customers and they with her. In addition to her parents, Deanne was preceded in death by one son, David Bryan Knotts on February 2, 1994, a brother Arthur Lawrence Adams on March 5, 1935, a sister Sylvia Maurine Adams on May 22, 1940 a brother-in-law, Kenneth Serratt and a sister-in-law, Donna Adams.

HUSBAND: Ralph L. Knotts of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 DAUGHTERS: Diana Segura and her husband Jesse, Debbie Rossen and her husband Shawn and Sharon Hass and her husband Michael all of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SON: Ralph Knotts, Jr and Yvette Gamboa of Amarillo, Texas.

10 GRANDCHILDREN: Leigha Knotts of Amarillo, Texas, David Lee Rossen, David James Hass, Emily Rossen, Kelsey Hass, Lucas Segura, Allen Hass, Kristen Lanier, Lauren Segura and Lindsey Lanier all of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 SISTERS: Janet Wheeler of El Paso, Texas and Beth Serratt and Karen Adams Smith and her husband Michael all of Amarillo, Texas.

1 BROTHER: Jim Adams of Amarillo, Texas.

And Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
