Memorial Graveside Services were held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Dollie Depue House Cooper was born on August 3, 1936 in Sofia, New Mexico to Elmer Clarence Depue and Nellie Pearl (Robertson) Depue. The youngest of 14 children, Dollie graduated from Clayton High School in 1954 and went to work as a Bookkeeper for REA in Clayton for thirty years. Dollie married Lloyd J. House on February 11, 1956 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1964. She later married Donald Cooper on December 15, 1981 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1996. In 1983 they moved to Santa Fe and at the age of 47, Dollie enrolled as a freshman at the College of Santa Fe. In 1987 she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While in school she volunteered with the Santa Fe Rape Crisis Center which brought her into contact with the Santa Fe County District Attorney's Office. In 1989 Dollie was hired by the District Attorney as a legal assistant and worked with victims of crime until 1993. While working full time at the DA's office, Dollie enrolled in the Masters program at Highland's University in Las Vegas and in 1991 earned her Master's Degree in Education/Counseling and Guidance. The same year, Dollie also earned a certificate in mediation from the University of New Mexico Law School. In 1993 they returned to Clayton and opened Southwest Art Gallery and while operating the gallery, Dollie worked part time for Clayton Domestic Violence Center and worked as a counselor and did the public relations for the office. In 1994 Dollie ran for Union County Magistrate Judge and was elected, she was the first woman to hold that office. Dollie belonged to several organizations and spent time helping her sister with the challenges in her life. In addition to her parents and both husbands, Dollie was preceded in death by 10 sisters; Margaret Worley, Mae Goesling, Mabel McClelland, Erma Goodyear, Lorene Kite, Frankie Miller, Charlotte Depue, Lois Depue, Edna Barnes and Elsie Lawhon and 1 brother; Bill Depue.

1 SON: Jeffrey House of Amarillo, Texas.

2 GRANDSONS: Ethan House and Spencer House both of Amarillo, Texas.

2 BROTHERS: Clarence Depue and his wife Carolyn of Pedro, Ohio and Carroll Depue and his wife Laura of Clayton, New Mexico.

And numerous nices, nephews and cousins.
