Dorris L. Treadwell, age 90, died Monday, July 15, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at Hass Funeral Home on Friday, July 19th from 5:00 PM tp 7:00 PM.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Central Time on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Texline, Texas with Aaron Morris officiating. Burial followed in the Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Dorris L (Matthews) Treadwell was born on September 25, 1928 in Killeen, Texas to John Brooks Matthews and Tula (Simonton) Matthews. Dorris married James C. Treadwell on September 7, 1947 in Dalhart, Texas and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1993. Dorris worked for Burns Hardware in Texline, Texas for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Texline. In addition to her husband, Dorris was preceded in death by her father on February 24, 1964 and her mother on October 25, 1968 and by two brothers and three sisters.

SURVIVORS :

2 SONS: Mike Treadwell and Jeff Treadwell.

3 GRANDCHILDREN: Tanya Dale, Jennifer Morris and Megan Treadwell.

5 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Caleb Morris, Hayden Dale, Cody Dale, Israel Dale and Gabby Dale.

And several nieces, nephews and cousins.
