Obituary

Ernestine (Erna) Trujillo, age 79, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 8, at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. The Family will gather at her sister Beatrice's home on Locust street in Clayton, New Mexico.

Ernestine was born in Folsom, New Mexico on November 11, 1931 to Juan Sisneros and Tomasita (Archuleta) Sisneros and passed away April 2, 2011 at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico surrounded by all her family after a long battle with Cancer. Ernestine and her late husband Macario Trujillo moved to Grants in 1979. Ernestine worked in Clayton and Grants at Nursing homes as a Cook and Nurse Aide till she retired. She will be missed by her family and friends that had the privilege to know her. She was preceded in death by her husband Macario Trujillo, 2 infant Daughters Rose Mary and Rebecca and her parents; Juan and Tomasita Sisneros. The family would like to thank Silver Lining and Hospice for the care given.

SURVIVORS:

3 DAUGHTERS: Yolanda Quintana of Milan, New Mexico, Teresa Valdez and her husband H. L. and Veronica Molina all of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

1 SON: Jim Trujillo and his wife Dorothy of Windsor, Colorado

10 GRANDCHILDREN: Jeramie, Jessica, Joseph, Michelle, Angelo, Robert, Marlina, Frankie Jr. , Eric, and Ashley.

22 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, plus one more due in August.

1 GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Izabella.

3 SISTERS: Cornelia Martinez, Martha Sisneros, and Beatrice Maynes all of Clayton, New Mexico.

4 BROTHERS: Paul Sisneros of Clayton, New Mexico, Gilbert Sisneros of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Johnny Sisneros and his wife Carmel of Dalhart, Texas and George Sisneros and his wife Eloise of Aztec, New Mexico.

And many nephews, nieces, God-daughters and God sons.
