Frank Elmer Wheeler, Jr., age 81, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Dalhart, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the San Antonio Room at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Dalhart.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 by Deacon Louis Artho and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Dalhart, Texas with Fr. Lawrence John as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Des Moines Catholic Cemetery in Des Moines, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Frank Elmer Wheeler, Jr. was born on August 9, 1937 in Maxwell, New Mexico to Frank Elmer Wheeler, Sr. and Rose (Rivale) Wheeler. He married Helen (Cisneros) Wheeler and they had 6 sons, Frank later married Juanita Stella (Fernandez) Wheeler on August 1, 1987 in Raton, New Mexico and they had a daughter. Frank worked in the construction business doing concrete work most of his life, In 1961 he moved to Dalhart and shortly after that he started his own concrete business that he operated until he retired in 2012. Frank loved his family very much. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Dalhart, Texas. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Ernie Wheeler, Billy Wheeler and Jody Wheeler and by 2 sons; Freddie Wheeler and Frank Wheeler.

WIFE: Juanita Wheeler of Dalhart, Texas.

1 DAUGHTER: Naomi Gallegos and her husband Mark of Dalhart, Texas.

6 SONS: Dennis Wheeler and his wife Kathy, Richard Wheeler, Ronnie Wheeler, Patrick Wheeler and his wife Jessica and Kenneth Wheeler all of Dalhart, Texas and Kevin Wheeler and his wife Marisol of Grapevine, Texas.

19 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren,

3 SISTERS: Grace Garrett of Raton, New Mexico, Linda Parry and her husband Ross of Dalhart, Texas and Lucille Wheeler of Guymon, Oklahoma.

3 BROTHERS: Ralph Wheeler of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ray Wheeler and his wife Imelda of Houston, Texas and Richard Wheeler and his wife Virginia of Dalhart, Texas.
