George Lookingbill, age 81, died Friday, May 13, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas.

Cremation has taken place and graveside services were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the Clayton, Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Billy Rammage, officiating.

George Lookingbill was born on December 23, 1934 in Thomas, New Mexico to Charles Newton Lookingbill and Dora (Brown) Lookingbill. He married Kay (Pogue) Lookingbill on January 1, 1956 in Clayton, New Mexico and she preceded him in death on May 5, 2007. He later married Colleen (Fulkersin) Lookingbill on July 22, 2008 in Clayton, New Mexico. George worked for the post office in Clayton for several years and then owned and operated Pogue Wholesale in Clayton until he retired. In addition to his first wife and parents, George was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Raymond Blake Lookingbill and Claude Lookingbill.

1 STEP-DAUGHTER: Paula Lawrence of Arlington, Texas.

2 STEP-SONS: Ted Lawrence and his wife Ladenna of Amarillo, Texas and Harley Lawrence and his wife Teresa of Luther, Oklahoma.
