Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 19, at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton with Rev. Jay Jones and Lynn Clay officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Glenn "Buzzy" Russell was born on October 5, 1920 in Dalhart, Texas to Irving Russell and Mary (Josie) Russell. Buzzy got his name from his sister Louise, when she tried to say "little brother" she would always say "lil Buzzer" which later became "Buzzy. He attended school in Nara Visa and Tucumcari before graduating from Nara Visa High School in 1938. Buzzy married Dora (Payne) Russell on November 10, 1951 in the family home in Gallegos, New Mexico. Dora's family was overjoyed that they finally had Buzzy in their family. Buzzy was always a Cowboy, They lived and ranched in near Nara Visa at the Coots Ranch and later moved to Spearman where they worked with the Wilmeth Cattle Company which later moved them to Texline. Buzzy and Dora later bought the ranch and made Clayton their home. In addition to his parents, Buzzy was preceded in death by a son; Casey Glenn Russell on April 13, 2005, 1 brother; Junie Russell, 3 sisters; Louise Stull, Mary Kanel and Martha Williams and 4 brothers-in-law; Charles Payne, Bob Payne, Bert Stull and J. D. Frazier.

WIFE: Dora Russell of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 DAUGHTER: Cindy Russell of Clovis, New Mexico.

4 GRANDCHILDREN: Hadley Gilbert and his wife Kim, Mandy Gilbert and Miles Moulder and his wife Angela all of Clovis, New Mexico and Amber Russell-Hart and her husband Al of Henderson, Nevada.

2 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Bryce Glenn Moulder and Ashton Presley Hart.

1 SISTER: Sara Jo Frazier of Lampasas, Texas.

and numerous nieces and nephews
