James "Jimmy" Edwin Hall, age 87, died on Monday, August 28, 2023, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Rinker Cemetery near Seneca, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

James "Jimmy" Edwin Hall was born on August 16, 1936, in Clayton, New Mexico to James Elbert Hall and Margaret Smith Hall. He attended Seneca School until he came to Clayton where he graduated from Clayton High School in 1954. Jimmy attended college until he was drafted into the US Army on November 25, 1959. He was stationed in Hawaii at Scofield for two years and because of a military related conflict, he served extra time until February of 1962. He started working for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and eventually retired after forty-two years of service. Jimmy loved the land, raising animals, arrowheads, old bottles and American history. Jimmy and Wanna (Ticer) Hall were united in marriage at the Polk Street Methodist Church in Amarillo, Texas on August 15, 1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert & Margaret Hall, his sisters Twila Hall & Flo Hall Molgaard and brothers Winston Hall, Anthony Hall and Walter Hall.

1 SON: Christopher Hall and his wife Tiffany of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 GRANDCHILDREN: McKenna Hall and Noah Hall both of Clayton, New Mexico.
