James Madison Howell, III, age 76 was received in Heaven on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023, on the Garcia Ranch, 190 Garcia Road, Mt. Dora, New Mexico 88424. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

James Madison Howell, III was born on November 29, 1946, in Hooker, Oklahoma to James Madison Howell, II and Danie (Matthews) Howell. James was their fourth child and only son. He had an exemplary career as an Army Veteran, Police Officer, Fire Fighter, EMT, Mechanic and numerous opportunities as a public servant. He was joyfully united in marriage to Leonora (Garcia) Howell in 1991 in Syracuse, Kansas. James' homecoming was preceded by his parents James and Danie Howell. He was almost 77 years old for his homecoming with the Lord. Thank you, James, you have served well. Rest Easy, we have it from here!

WIFE: Leonora Howell.

6 Children: Shelly, Jeanette, Carrie, Emily, Rhyan and Jamey.

Multiple Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

3 SISTERS: Sherry, Pam and Mona.

4 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Beatrice, Sandra, Kay and Cleo.

3 BROTHERS-IN-LAW: Ferdinand, Leon and Jerry.
