Jerry Milton Garcia, 72 years old, of Clayton, NM passed away on May 11, 2024, one week after his beloved wife, Cleo Garcia. The son of Ferdinand Garcia II and Emilia Rivera Garcia, Jerry was born in Sampson, NM. He worked on the family ranch and was a manager in the restaurant industry for many years. He was a courier, hot shot, and pilot car driving. He then worked at the Golden Spread for his brother, Ferdinand, before retiring. Jerry was also a man of faith who deeply loved his wife, Cleo. He enjoyed cooking and had a sweet tooth, spending time with given and chosen family and with his pets. His charm was matched only by his knack for playful banter.

He is survived by his son, Peter Carlos Garcia and his wife Jenni; grandson, Cody Lanham; sisters, Leonora Howell and Beatrice George; brothers, Leon E. Garcia and Ferdinand Garcia III and his wife Kay; nieces and nephews, and many other family members.

A celebration of his life will be held at the family ranch at 192 Garcia Rd, Grenville, NM 88424 on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at 1:00pm MT, followed by laying to rest Jerry and Cleo Garcia, and dinner.
