Jesse Unruh passed away on July 6, 2026 At his parents home south of Clayton, New Mexico at the age of 43.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Central Standard Time, on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Texline Mennonite Church with Matt Koehn and Ridgel Koehn officiating. Burial will follow in the Texline Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Jesse Unruh was born on December 12, 1982 in Clayton, New Mexico to Stanley and Jerra Unruh. He grew up on his parents farm south of Clayton and attended the State Line Christian School. Jesse worked numerous different jobs in several different states throughout his life. Jesse had a very generous heart and had the ability to make friends easilt wherever he went. His friends and family were always very important to him and he always made time for all of them. Jesse was preceded in death by an infant brother, Andrew Scott Unruh, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.

PARENTS: Stanley and Jerra Unruh of Sedan, New Mexico.

2 BROTHERS: Isaac Unruh and his wife Rebecca of Clayton, New Mexico and Nathan Unruh and his wife Haley of Potlatch, Idaho.

2 SISTERS: Clarissa Redger and her husband Jamie of Garryowen, Montana and Emily Unruh and her husband Tyson of Hesston, Kansas.

MEMORIALS: The family asks that memorials be made in Jesse’s memory to Union County General Hospital.
