John Edward C de Baca, age 84, died on October 15, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 18, 2019 and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Jason Pettigrew as Celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

John Edward C de Baca was born on September 29, 1935 in Clayton, New Mexico to Juan Bautista C de Baca and Ofelia Augustina (Salazar) C de Baca. He was raised in Bueyeros, New Mexico and married Dorothy (Martinez) C de Baca on June 27, 1964 in Clayton and they made their home in Albuquerque. John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald L. C de Baca.

2 DAUGHTERS: Monica C de Baca of Phoenix, Arizona and Melissa C de Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

1 SON: John C de Baca, Jr. of Dallas, Texas.

2 GRANDDAUGHTERS: Lauren C de Baca of Washington, DC and Elisabeth C de Baca of Dallas, Texas.

1 SISTER: Lydia Moralez and her husband Miguel of Edgewood, New Mexico.

1 BROTHER: Casimiro C de Baca and his wife Nora of Denver, Colorado.

And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
