John Dillon, age 71, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
John Dillon was born on September 5, 1943 in Lamar, Colorado to Wally Dillon and Ruth (Stein) Dillon. He moved to Clayton with his mother in 1961 to open the bowling alley in Clayton. While living in Clayton, John met Janet (Wright) Dillon and together they had three children. John enjoyed working on old cars and stock cars when he was younger. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Donna Lee Thomas.
SURVIVORS:
2 DAUGHTERS: Teri Dillon of Raleigh, North Carolina and Tina Parkhill and her husband Lance of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
1 SON: Brett Dillon and his wife Jennifer of Clayton, New Mexico.
4 GRANDCHILDREN: Devon Dillon and Emily Dillon both of Clayton, New Mexico and Dillon Parkhill and Julia Parkhill both of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
