Johnnie Mae Kohrman, age 90, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Elkhart. Kansas.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Johnnie Mae (Hudec) Kohrman was born on January 26, 1921 in Eola, Concha County, Texas to John Rudolph Hudec and Annie Elizabeth (Ripple) Hudec. She married Raymond B. Kohrman on November 28, 1942 in Wall, Texas and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1966. Johnnie Mae ranched with her husband from 1946 until 1966 and she worked as a retail clerk and R. W. Isaacs True Value Hardware Store in Clayton from 1964 through 1974. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. In addition to her parents and husband, Johnnie Mae was preceded in death by a brother; Jesse Lee Hudec, a niece; Pauline Wilkinson and a nephew; Richard "Dick" Kohrman.

Several nieces and nephews including: Valerie Kerschen and her husband Mike of Boise City, Oklahoma, Nancy Beadle and her husband Cap of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cynthia Hudec of San Angelo, Texas, Debbie Bolk of Fort Collins, Colorado, Janette Hibbs of Illinois, Linda Gibbs and her husband Michael of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Rick Hudec and his wife Laurie of San Angelo, Texas, Bill Bolk and his wife Lydia of Amarillo, Texas and Dean Wilkinson and his wife Pep of Socorro, New Mexico.
