Johnny Jack Jones, age 74, passed from this earth on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Texline Cemetery in Texline, Texas with Dr. David Jones D.D. Bishop of Church and Ministerial Alliance International, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Jack was born on December 28, 1947, in Clayton, New Mexico to his proud parents Jasper (Johnny) Rollins Jones and Alta Lucille Freeman Jones. Jack spent his youth covering every inch of ground in Clayton. He always said, "I would have been a cowboy, but I was afraid of cows." Through all of his travels and living in many places, Clayton was always home to Jack. He graduated from Clayton High School in 1965 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. After 26 years serving as a weather forecaster for the Air Force, Jack retired in 1992 at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas. He made Fort Worth his home for the rest of his life.

Left to celebrate and remember Jack's beautiful life are his wife of 28 years, Johanna; his daughters LaDawna and BK; his stepsons Josh and Eric; his grandchildren Mackenzie, Parker, Brooke and Patrick; sisters Connie Linn and Robbin Warren. Jack was loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed.
