Rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton by Deacon P. Louis Montoya. Funeral Services were held at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 17, 2011 with Rev. Jay Jones, pastor officiating. Services were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Jonathan Moses Vigil was born on June 10. 1975 in Clayton, New Mexico to Rosendo Moses "Boy" Vigil and Elizabeth Darlene (Gonzales) Vigil. A lifelong resident of Clayton, Jonathan attended school in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 1994. He enjoyed life and loved spending time with his family. Jonathan liked movies, especially the Harry Potter series, listening to music and he was a Washington Redskins fan. Although he battled illness his entire life, Jonathan always made the best of his life. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Rosendo "Boy" Vigil on June 25, 1995, his paternal grandparents and by an aunt and two uncles.

MOTHER: Elizabeth Vigil-Aguilar and her husband Ruben of Lovington, New Mexico.

1 BROTHER: Joshua Vigil and Rhianna of Clayton, New Mexico.

6 NIECES and NEPHEWS: Jaiden Vigil, Ebonne Digvonni, Jacob Tavarez, Savanna Tavarez, Santanna Tavarez and Joshua Tavarez.

And numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
