Karen Sue (Richards) Bleiker, age 74, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Central Time on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Texline Baptist Church in Texline, Texas with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Burial will follow in the Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Karen Sue (Richards) Bleiker was born on July 26, 1947, in Richmond, Indiana to James Leonard Richards and Elizabeth Ruth (Wright) Richards. She lived in Richmond, Indiana for several years and she worked for the Indiana Department of Human Services. Karen married Buddy Bleiker on June 11, 1983, in Clayton, New Mexico. After moving to Texline, Karen worked for the Texas Department of Human Services and later ran a café and the trucking business for several years. Karen was always busy and had several other jobs as well. Karen loved the Lord and all of her family and always enjoyed spending time with her family, and she enjoyed her Me time with God in the mornings having coffee and watching the flowers. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Darlene Wilkes and Cathy Martin and 3 brothers, John Dane Richards, James Leonard Richards and Richard Martin.
SURVIVORS:
HUSBAND: Buddy Bleiker of Dalhart, Texas.
2 DAUGHTERS: Elizabeth Christine Copley and her husband Curtis Wayne of Dalhart, Texas and Lisa Jean Flores of Clayton, New Mexico.
3 SONS: Michael James Reed, Russell Nelson Reed and Robert Earl Reed all of Clayton, New Mexico.
8 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren
1 BROTHER: Ricky Martin of Richmond, Indiana.
1 SISTER: Ramona Martin of Richmond, Indiana.
2 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Bobbie Richards of Richmond, Indiana and Michelle Reeser of Texline, Texas.
1 BROTHER-IN-LAW: John Bleiker and his wife Julie of Jayton, Texas.
