Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 20, and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 21, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico. The family will be gathering at 324 Cherry Street.

Margrett V. Wagner was born on June 9, 1933 in Clayton, New Mexico to Juan F. "Johnny" Vigil and Eliza (Tixier) Vigil. She attended school in Clayton, New Mexico where she was a cheerleader and she graduated in 1952 and attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque for two years. Margrett married Wesley M. Wagner on November 16, 1959 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1971. Margrett worked for the Union County Health Department for over 30 years and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time on the family ranch. In addition to her parents and husband, Margrett was preceded in death by her brother; John Edmund Vigil on July 13, 2006.

1 SON: Scott Wayne Wagner and his wife Sheri of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 DAUGHTER: Lisa Anne Phipps and her husband Shane of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Kathryn Garcia of Clayton, New Mexico.

9 GRANDCHILDREN: Wesly Wagner, Brady Wagner, Cyrus Wagner, Derek Wagner, Kristi Wagner, Kayla Wagner, Justin Phipps, Joshua Phipps and Jesse Phipps.

3 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Killian Wagner, Taelynn Wagner and Greyson Wagner.

and numerous nieces and nephews.
