Marian McKay, age 75, died Monday, June 8, 2015 in Houston, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Kyle Bueermann and Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Burial followed in the Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Marian McKay was born on August 30, 1939 in Roy, New Mexico to Grady Anderson and Elizabeth (Allen) Anderson. She grew up in Roy and graduated from Roy High School. Marian worked for the Bank of New Mexico and later the Savings and Loan in Raton and Clayton for several years and later worked for the Best Western Kokopelli Lodge in Clayton. Marian married Ron McKay on April 20, 1990 in Roy, New Mexico. She was an active member in the First Baptist Church in Clayton and was a member of the choir for many years. Marian was a wonderful, beautiful, charming, caring and down to earth person and she never wanted anybody to worry about her. She was preceded in death by her parents.

HUSBAND: Ron McKay of Dalhart, Texas.

2 DAUGHTERS: Rhonda Ferguson and her husband Jim of Sunray, Texas and Renee Singleton and her husband Tim of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

1 SON: Tommy Rigoni and his wife Cindy of Slaton, Texas.

1 STEP-SON: Alton McKay of Dalhart, Texas.

2 SISTERS: Martha Shell and her husband Lou of Belen, New Mexico and Gloria Hagler and her husband Tommy of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

8 GRANDCHILDREN: Ashley Marquez, Jerrod Ortiz, Keith Rigoni, Christy Huddleston, Daniel Chandler, Kendra Sturgess, Bethany Finck and Bradon McKay.

And 7 Great-Grandchildren.
