Mark Montoya, age 51, died on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary was recited at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2020 and Mass of Christian Burial followed at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Jason Pettigrew as celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Mark Montoya was born on May 22, 1969 in Clayton, New Mexico to Abran "Abie" Montoya and Lupe (Ulibarri) Montoya. Mark graduated from Clayton High School in 1987. He served in the New Mexico National Guard and worked for Tri State Recycling in Texline, Texas. Mark loved to ride motorcycles and he loved to hunt, fish, camp and cook. He enjoyed the mountains and he was very artistic. Mark was preceded in death by his father Abie Montoya on January 1, 2016 and by an aunt, Rosella Padilla.
