Mary E. Trujillo, age 73, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Amarillo, Texas.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 2, and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Mary E. Trujillo was born on February 6, 1938 in Pasamonte, New Mexico to Guillermo Cruz and Annie (Martinez) Cruz. A lifelong resident of Clayton, New Mexico, Mary graduated from Clayton High School in 1956 and Married Daniel Trujillo on February 17, 1958 in Clayton. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Mary worked as a cook for many years and was a babysitter for numerous children for many years. She was a good wife, mother and grandmother and loved to cook. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother-in-law; Florencio Trujillo, a niece; Carla Hartman and a nephew; Dino Marrandino.

HUSBAND: Daniel Trujillo of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 DAUGHTERS: Dolores Gonzales and her husband Steve of Moriarty, New Mexico and Loretta Funk and her husband Mark of Clayton, New Mexico.

4 SONS: Daniel Trujillo, Jr. and John Trujillo and his wife Ginger all of Clayton, New Mexico, Edward Trujillo of Scottsdale, Arizona and Chris Trujillo and his wife Marcia of Portales, New Mexico.

11 GRANDCHILDREN: Steven, Teresa, Jonathan, Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Kayle, Nicholas, Lindsey, Moriah and Shaye.

1 GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Gavin.

3 SISTERS: Eloise Trujillo and her husband Felix of Hugoton, Kansas and Dora Marrandino and Mary Ann Trujillo both of Moscow, Kansas.

1 BROTHER: Gary Cruz and his wife Nancy of Clayton, New Mexico.

And numerous nieces and nephews.

MEMORIALS: The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton.
