Mary Jaramillo, age 74, passed away on Monday June 29, 2020 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Clayton Gospel Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Pastor Mike Phipps officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Mary Jaramillo was born on November 5, 1945 in Clayton, New Mexico to Bernardo Vigil and Juanita (Griego) Vigil. Mary attended school in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School. Mary married Richard Jaramillo on August 24, 1963 in Clayton, New Mexico. Richard and Mary lived in many places while he served in the military and then returned to Clayton when he retired. Mary had a very strong faith and loved God and all of her family and friends and she was loved by everyone that knew her. She was a very faithful member of the Clayton Gospel Church and ran the nursery for many years. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, by 1 daughter, Denise Jaramillo in 1980, 1 son, Ernest Edwin Jaramillo on May 28, 2001 and 1 brother, Bernardo Vigil.

SURVIVORS:

HUSBAND: Richard Jaramillo of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 DAUGHTER: Melissa Jaramillo and her fiancé Albert Roybal of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 SONS: Reuben Jaramillo and Richard Jaramillo both of Clayton, New Mexico.

6 Grandchildren: Dominic, Carlos, Lenayah, Elijah, Lela and Richard.

1 SISTER: Patty Lee and her husband Brian of Louisiana.

2 BROTHERS: Abdon Vigil and his wife Margie of Dumas, Texas and Max Griego and his wife Maxine of Guymon, Oklahoma.

And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
