Michael Edward "Mike" Raines, Age 52, died on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home in Clayton, New Mexico.

Vigil Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Jason Pettigrew as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Michael Edward Raines was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 25, 1969. He attended Clayton High School and went to ENMU in Portals. Michael fed cattle and doctored them in several feedlots. He loved woodworking, photography, writing poetry and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Raines and Grandparents, Amos and Wyona Raines and Eulogio and Soledad Sanchez.

HIS MOTHER: Lupe Raines of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 CHILDREN: Christian Raines and Devon Raines both of Clayton, new Mexico and Ghabriel Raines of Amarillo, Texas.

4 GRANDCHILDREN: Isaih Raines, Annalicia Hensley, Izaik Raines and Elaina Raines.

1 BROTHER: John Raines of Clayton, New Mexico.
