Milford A. Nelson, age 86, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Raton, New Mexico.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Clayton, New Mexico with Darryl Walker officiating.
Milford A. Nelson was born on September 11, 1925 in Moody, Texas to Ivy Nelson and Francis (Permenter) Nelson. He married Geraldine (Maedgen) Nelson on July 14, 1945 in Belton, Texas. Milford was an elder in the Clayton congregation of Jehovah's Witness and he was very well known for his Bible activities around Clayton while he was preaching the "good news" of Jehovah's Kingdom. (Matthew 24:14) Milford was preceded in death by his parents.
SURVIVORS:
WIFE: Geraldine Nelson of Clayton, New Mexico.
And 1 COUSIN: Preston Nelson.
