Pamela Sue Wilson Phipps was born on February 16th, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Carl J. Wilson and Dona L. Wilson. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she met her husband in high school, Michael Shane Phipps Sr. Pam enjoyed working for her dad for several years at his Tulsa restaurant, "CJ's Timeout". Mike and Pam and their young son moved to Clayton, New Mexico in 1981 where they later had their two daughters. Pam loved and enjoyed her role as a wife and stay at home mother as her children grew up. Mike and Pam have continued to reside in Clayton, New Mexico where they have enjoyed raising their family and being a part of the community. Pam was a cherished daughter, daughter-in-law, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was caring and kind to everyone she met. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and was the devoted Pastor's Wife of Clayton Gospel Church for 20 years. Her fellow church members were truly seen as family by her, and she and Mike have made many close and lasting friendships there throughout the years. Pam was always checking in with her children and grandchildren no matter how far away they lived, and loved to show photos of them and say how proud she was of each one of them. Pam was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Rose Wilson and Dona and Johnny Johnston Sr., her brother Joe Wilson, her sister Cindy Wilson Webb, her father-in-law Henry Phipps, and her daughter-in-law Lisa Phipps. Pam was a beloved member of her community and deeply loved by her family and friends.
