Patience Chevon (Carmichael) Lindsey, age 35, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Clayton, New Mexico.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Texline Baptist Church.
Patience Chevon (Carmichael) Lindsey was born on May 15, 1978 in Memphis, Texas to Eddie Carmichael and Treva Jean (Banks) Carmichael. She attended Clayton Schools from K-12 and attended Clovis Community College after graduating from Clayton High School in 1996. Patience married Todd Kevin Lindsey on May 22, 1997 and he preceded her in death in July of 2002. Patience was among the first cadets to graduate at NENMDF on August 21, 2008 and she attended Borger Community College in 2009. She was a gifted seamstress, cook and cake decorator. She loved family gatherings and shared her home with numerous young people throughout the years.

2 DAUGHTERS: Treva Esperanza Lindsey and Sierra Cheyenne Shawnee Staggs both of Texline, Texas.
2 SISTERS: Charity Jean Porter and her husband Keith of Terre Haute, Indiana and Melody Yvette Martinez and her husband Johnny of Hagerstown, Maryland.
MOTHER-IN-LAW: Florella Broyles of Clovis, New Mexico.
AUNTS & UNCLES: Julie Ann Gorby of Caney, Kansas, Kathy Moss of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jerry Carmichael of Amarillo, Texas and Bobbi Jo Sipes of North Dakota.
And 13 nieces and nephews.
