Paul Christopher Marquez, age 43, died Monday, December 2, 2013 in Amarillo, Texas.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 5th and Communion Services were held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 6th, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Deacon P. Louis Montoya, officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Paul Christopher Marquez was born on January 16, 1970 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Rebecca Cleofas Marquez. He was raised by his mom and step-dad; Dwaine Stewart. He attended school in Clayton, Dumas and Texline. Paul worked at the Sale Barn in Clayton for many years and he also worked on irrigation systems throughout the area. Paul loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by a niece; Harley Nicole Burnett, his grandparents; Rose and Dan Marquez and by an uncle; Nick Gonzales.

2 DAUGHTERS: Lucy Hartwell and Alyson Hartwell of Sedan, New Mexico.

HIS PARENTS: Dwaine and Rebecca Stewart of Texline, Texas.

2 SISTERS: Briana Lynn Stewart of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Alisha Ann McMasters and her husband Wesley of Texline, Texas.

4 Nieces and Nephews: Alexandria, Shay, Destine and Gabriel.

And numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
