Philip Joseph Archuleta, age 76, died Sunday, February 26, 2012, at his home in Roy, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place and the family will have a Rosary at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 3, 2012 followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Roy, New Mexico with Fr. John Brasher as celebrant.

Philip Joseph Archuleta was born on December 9, 1935 in Roy, New Mexico to Antonio Archuleta and Alice (Gonzales) Archuleta. He joined the US Marines during the Korean was and served as a Tank Commander. After he returned from the military, Philip worked at the Union County Leader for a few years before moving to Albuquerque, where he worked as a manager for Mariott for several years. In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by a brother Louie Gonzales and a sister Becky Trott.

2 SONS: Anthony Archuleta and Robert Archuleta both of Roy, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Eloisa Martinez and her husband Ted of Raton, New Mexico.

1 SISTER-IN-LAW: Faye Gonzales of Tularosa, New Mexico.

1 AUNT: Annie Dikeman of Roy, New Mexico.

And several nephews and nieces.
