Ramon Trujillo, age 93, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 13, and Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 14, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Des Moines, New Mexico with Fr. Glenn Jones, Celebrant. Burial followed in the Ojo Del Pinavete Cemetery West of Des Moines, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Ramon Trujillo was born on August 31, 1917 at the Gallegos Ranch near Des Moines, New Mexico to Frederico and Julia Trujillo. He served in the Conservation Corps Camps before going to war where he served during WWII in the South Pacific. Ramon was a past member of the Knights of Columbus and he retired from the Burlington Norther Railroad after 34 years. Ramon, affectionately known as "Mo" to all family and friends was a beloved patriarch and member of the Des Moines community for his entire life and will be greatly missed and always loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Alice, two brothers; Tony Trujillo and Juan Trujillo, two sisters; Marcelina Whitman and Mollie Ulibarri and by his beloved son; Eugene Trujillo.

1 SON: Ray Trujillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

2 DAUGHTERS: Linda Trujillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dorothy Sisneros and her husband Raymond of Des Moines, New Mexico.

7 GRANDCHILDREN: Jeremy Trujillo and his wife Dawn, Alijah Trujillo, Ambrosia Trujillo, Naomi Trujillo, Victoria Levengood and her husband James, Julie Ortega and her husband Gabriel and Letticia Gonzales.

9 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Kurtis, Khloie, Alejandra, Jacoby, Tralyn, Annabelle, Manny Ray, Melana and Crystal.

3 SISTERS: Mary Cannon, Cecilia Bachicha and her husband Benny and Emma Koblishke and her husband Don.

1 BROTHER: Fred Trujillo and his wife Barbara.

1 SISTER-IN-LAW: Eloisa Trujillo.
