Robert Henry Crisman, age 81, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2011 in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery with Lynn Clay and Chester Kimber, officiating. Services were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico and Kirikos Family Funeral Home of T or C, New Mexico.
Robert Henry Crisman was born on September 18, 1930 in Memphis, Texas to James Elisha Crisman and Nancy Mae (Ward) Crisman. Robert married DeLena Kate (Garcia) Crisman on May 27, 1955. Robert served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1952 through 1954. He was employed by Clayton Automotive and Ethridge Chevrolet as a mechanic in Clayton before moving to the Hayden and Amistad, New Mexico area. He first worked at the J. Heiman Ranch, then he worked 30 years on the Hutcherson Ranch where he also raised quarter horses. Robert retired in 1999. In 2000 he and DeLena moved to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico where he enjoyed working on small engines and maintaining the yard and grounds of his home. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by three brothers; Hoyt Lee, Fred and Weldon Crisman.

4 DAUGHTERS: Jayne Jenson and her husband Sonny of Phoenix, Arizona, DeRetha Rock and her husband Rodney of Wolfforth, Texas, Vanessa Bartoo and her husband Howard and Megan Crisman and Wes Henderson all of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
