Robert Ray Hollingsworth, age 83, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Sedan Community Center.

Robert Ray Hollingsworth was born on June 21, 1936 in Amarillo, Texas to George Bedford Hollingsworth and Lettie May (Bell) Hollingsworth. He served in the United States Air Force and later in the United States Coast Guard. Robert moved to the Dalhart area in the mid 1980's and later to Sedan, New Mexico. Robert donated to many veterans organizations and children's charities. He was preceded in death by his parents and by the love of his life, Nellie Vandiver.

SURVIVORS :

1 DAUGHTER: Cynthia Vandiver and her husband Michael of Sedan, New Mexico.

GRANDDAUGHTER: Katie Ceridan of Campbell, California.

STEP-CHILDREN: Jeanie Randal and her husband Jay of Chandler, Arizona and Jessie Vandiver and his wife Janae of Clayton, New Mexico.

10 STEP-GRANDCHILDREN: April Warren, Crystal Wilson, Julie Taylor, James Randal, Jessica Morgan, Jacque Randal, Andrew Vandiver, Tucker Vandiver, Zane Vandiver and Carson Vandiver.

Numerous step-great-grandchildren

And his Best Friends: Charlie Day and Karen Poole.
