Robert R. Wood, age 48, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at his home in Gladstone, New Mexico.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Don R. Wood Auditorium in Clayton, New Mexico. Burial followed in the Springer Cemetery in Springer, New Mexico at 3:30 PM by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Robert Ralph Wood was born January 18, 1964, the adopted son of Ralph and Goldie Wood of Gladstone, New Mexico. He graduated from Springer High School in 1982. After graduation, he attended college at Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma. He worked as a welder, machinist, and truck driver in Dalhart and Gruver, Texas as well as Clayton, Roy, and Springer, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph M. Wood and a sister, Cherilee Bryan.

EX-WIFE: Susan Wood of Dalhart, Texas.

DAUGHTER: Shelby of Dalhart, Texas.

MOTHER: Goldie Wood of Huntsville, Arkansas.

2 SISTERS: Vi Ferran and her husband, Robert of White Rock, New Mexico and Leslie Thomas and her husband, Rod of Ellijay, Georgia.

BROTHER: Walter Wood and his wife Elaine of Woodbridge, Virginia.

BROTHER-IN-LAW: Harold Bryan of Huntsville, Arkansas.

Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, and Nieces.
