Ruth Faye Belew, age 90, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 18, at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clayton, New Mexico officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Ruth Faye Belew was born on June 19, 1921 in Randal County, near Canyon, Texas to Mark Wesley and Lena (Walters) Wesley. Ruth was a 1940 Graduate of Clayton High School. She worked for Pioneer Auto Co. In Clayton in the 1940's and worked for D. D. Monroe at Clayton Abstract Company for several years. She also worked at Southwestern Electric Coop for 16 ½ years. Ruth Faye Wesley married Houston Marion "Jack" Belew on June 12, 1943, in Clayton, New Mexico, and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Irene Miller and Beatrice Hale, and by 3 Brothers: Grady Wesley, Dale Wesley and Mark A. Wesley.
