Sara Lee Padilla, age 61, died on Monday, October 10, 2022, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Hilario Perez officiating.

Sara Lee Padilla was born on May 9, 1961, in Clayton, New Mexico to Agipito Padilla and Viola (Cruz) Padilla. She worked for hotels in Oklahoma City and later at Dollar General in Kansas and then at Loves in Clayton. She loved to make tamales and tortillas and sold them to numerous people around Clayton for many years. Sara married Adolfo Padilla on February 14, 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eric Padilla and by a sister Martha Archuleta.

HUSBAND: Adolfo Padilla of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SON: Tobias Olivas of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW: Andrea Pankratz of Wichita, Kansas and Anita Friedlander of Pampa, Texas.

9 GRANDCHILDREN: Saige Pankratz, Raign Pankratz, Malakai Pankratz and Paisynne Padilla all of Wichita, Kansas, Eliseo Olivas of Pampa, Texas, Alijah Olivas, Amari Romero and Vanessa Padilla all of Clayton, New Mexico and Brooklyn Cox of Amarillo, Texas.

2 SISTERS: Nadine Padilla and Norma Padilla both of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 BROTHERS: David Padilla and Virgil Padilla both of Clayton, New Mexico.
